NVDA Reading From Field Twice In Thunderbird While Browsing Messages Within A Folder
Ron Canazzi
Hi Group,
Without opening any messages and while using up/down arrow keys in Thunderbird, the from field is being read twice. I am not sure if this is actually an NVDA bug or a Thunderbird bug. The reason I say this is because when I use left/right arrow key navigation while highlighting a message, it seems as if the From Field appears twice. I am using Thunderbird 78 latest update and NVDA 2020.2 Is anyone having this issue and if so, is there a remedy? Thanks for any help. -- They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes. They ask: "How Happy are You?" I Say: "I'm as happy as a stow away chimpanzee on a banana boat!"

Ron, I suspect that this may be neither an NVDA bug or a bug in
Thunderbird. I've seen this with some mailing lists and I suspect
this has to do with which headers are being made available. I would
recommend that you download and install the Mozilla
Apps Enhancements addon. I wish I could tell you exactly
which header you need to hide but experiment with the addon as I'll
bet you'll eventually figure out which of the two headers are
displaying the message recipient.

Hi David,
I already have the Mozilla Apps Enhancements installed. I will in fact check to see if I have some sort of redundancy in the header alignment. On 10/12/2020 7:45 AM, David Goldfield
