Problem with two add-ons after updating

I first removed all the add-ons I was using--Sys Tray, Winamp, Remote Access and IBM TTS. I then went to the add-ons Website, downloaded and installed the new versions of IBM TTS and Remote Access, but neither of them appear where they're supposed to. The IBM TTS Driver appears in the add-ons list but not as a selectable speech synthesizer, and Remote Access (now called Remote Desktop Support) doesn't show up in Tools where it used to. What'd I do wrong?

That's because "Remote Desktop Support" is an entirely different add-on than the old "NVDA Remote" AKA "Remote Support", that has been around for years.

You may like Remote Desktop better, depending on your use case--I suggest you go to add-ons manager, and hit the documentation button to see what it can do and how, or you are going to be very surprised the next time you need a remote session.
